Formula1 – Oscar Plastry: A pioneer in the league, three wins in five matches!

O Oscar Plastri is the new star on Formula1. MAfter his Jeddah victory yesterday, the Australian pilot shows that he is determined to win this year’s championship without much trouble. McLaren’s pilot has scored three wins in five matches! And this is the beginning, as Formula1’s talented driver – who has won championships in Formula3 and 2 – is getting ready to write history, justifying those who stole him two years ago by Alpine!

He seems to have terrible confidence even from his statements: « There was no way to get a second out of the first turn (referring to the battle with Ferstapen). I am very happy with all the work we have done with the starts and that gave us the victory today. «

Australian’s victory brought him leader, showing that McLaren has two equal drivers proudly restoring the historic team to the position it deserves. In numbers, he has won five wins and 14 podiums in his first 51 matches in the cradle of motor sport.

Since Easter Sunday, Oscar Plastri has been leading the championship for the first time to his career. It is ahead of 99 points, with 10 points difference from its teammate, the equally talented Lado Norris, who has scored a victory, the one in the opening race of the season in Australia. Ferstapen finished second in second place yesterday, confirming the value of the champion while Charles Lekler completed the trio on the podium with Ferrari. (Hamilton was found in the seventh). In the teams McLaren leads with 188 points, second Mercedes with 111 and Red Bull with 89. The troupe continues in two weeks, on the other side of the Atlantic at the Grand Prix in Miami!

The winner, Oscar Plastri, after 3or this year and 5or A total victory of his career, stressed: « As soon as I was on the inside, there was no way to get a second out of the first turn. I tried as much as I could. Obviously, the agonists had to be involved, but I thought I was ahead and eventually gave me the victory. So yes, I am very happy with all the work we have done in the start, and that gave us the victory today. It was very difficult to follow out there. I couldn’t stay close to Max at the end of the first half, I just destroyed my tires, and after the free field it was nice after the pit stop. Wonderful race. We did the right pieces that needed. I think we still need a few things; Max was a little too close to our tastes, but it was a great race and a great weekend. One of our most important upgrades this week was that the water bottle was working. That was good, mildly a few liquids, something that was nice. It’s always a difficult fight here. It’s a little later in the year this year, which I think makes it a little warmer, with more humidity, and definitely one of the most difficult struggles I have done in my career. So, I’m glad I was able to win. «
