Former professional footballer and former Miss Eveline Hoste opposite each other in court: « Put money in their own pocket with the intention to cheat » (inland)

Eveline Hoste, former Miss Belgian Beauty and now real estate agent and politician for Open VLD, will be on the right for the Ghent court on Thursday. Her ex, former professional footballer Bjorn de Wilde, claims that Hoste has channeled 78,000 euros from their joint firm.
Miss Belgian Beauty 2001 Eveline Hoste and Bjorn de Wilde, former professional football player at KSC Lokeren, among others, had a relationship for eighteen years and formed a BV couple Avant La Lettre. In 2020, however, their relationship went wrong. Thursday the two face each other in the Ghent court.
At the time, the couple had a case in which they brought together their proceeds: B&E Consultancy. All their profitable activities were housed in that company: media work, coaching, presentations and also real estate, because even then Hoste was a real estate agent.

De Wilde filed a complaint in the aftermath of the divorce. According to his lawyer, Anthony Mallego, at least 78,000 euros would have been channeled to another company from their joint company. Hoste’s mother has that case as the owner and herself as a director.

The public prosecutor appointed an investigating judge and the council chamber decided at the beginning of this year to refer Hoste to the court. « The facts are very clear and misuse of trust, » said lawyer Mallego earlier. « She (Eveline Hoste, ed.) Has put funds of their joint firm in their own pocket, to cheat on the design. »

In addition, Mallego will request a professional ban for Hoste, who has already made a striking appearance twice in the popular TV program Huizenjagers, in which real estate agents compete against each other. « We ask for the withdrawal of her recognition number. » Hoste is also a municipal councilor for Open VLD in Destelbergen.
The public prosecutor would also demand a professional ban, in addition to a forfeiture and the reimbursement of the funds to Bjorn de Wilde. If the court assures the former footballer in the right, Eveline Hoste will have to stop as a real estate agent. Whether it comes to that is still to become apparent. The ex-Miss himself did not want to comment on the introductory session. On Thursday she will have to speak herself anyway.
