The Hurd and McDonald Islands are located about 4000 km from Australia and the water from Perth to them is reached in about a week. According to the authorities, there has not been a human foot there for at least 10 years. They are populated only with penguins and seals. Can they pay duties? The question sounds like a comment from John Oliver’s satirical show, but it was actually a topic in American news programs. Both Hurd and McDonald came across Donald Trump’s duties, and the Australian authorities reacted that this was probably a mistake. It turned out not to be.
The story with a penguin myth seems ridiculous against the background of other effectsin the application to the islands of the end of the world, there is probably some logic, it can be in the column « to make noise and confuse », but it can also be seen as a metaphor for politics, decisions and mechanisms behind them in the first two months of Trump’s second term.

From a fault to a precipice – in the US Republicans and Democrats are looking differently in the world
The discrepancy between registered Voter Republicans and Democrats is huge showing two studies that Dnevnik analyzes. Here are some examples:
