The real problem is elsewhere and is much deeper. And until we start talking openly about him, we will continue to repeat « none more » every month and will see helplessly how the cases of beaten, crippled and killed women accumulate.

In most cases, boys are not born killers. The assumption that one can freely have a foreign life and body is formed by the environment in which it grows – both in reality and online. The former is said and written by many people far more competent than I am. I want to pay attention to the second –

In recent months, I have had to study these online communities in detail – beyond Andrew Tate and the usual ideas about Insel. The reason was my diploma work. What I saw terrified me-not just as a man and a woman, but mostly as a sister of a 14-year-old girl.

Many of the content I came across, I cannot describe here because it violates the rules of Facebook. Posts with tens of thousands of likes describe women as « subhumans », talk about dreams of martial law, where they will invade the homes of neighbors, classmates, cousins ​​and do whatever they want with their bodies. These communities have their own vocabulary, thanks to which they often go unnoticed by parental checks – you may not know what « F*ID » is, but most likely at least one child around you knows.

In its more humble form, this content is spread through podcasts, shorts and « guides » for manipulating women, with stories about the differences between « high value women » (High Value Women) and the rest. It uses the uncertainties that inevitably come with puberty to attract new members. A mocking, humiliating tone for the boys themselves is often used to convince them that violence is the only way to get a romantic or physical relationship.

They are taught that their wives owe them bodies and attention.

I do not know if Ivan, who killed Magdalen and stuffed her into a can, was part of such communities. But I am almost certain that like thousands of other boys his age, he came across such videos – and even if he did not interact with them, at least to some extent he remembered them.

We cannot delete any such profile. We cannot prohibit internet access. We cannot kill these ideas from their heads with a « parent slap ».

I think the only thing we can do is build strong enough real communities so that children do not seek belonging in such online spaces. And let’s talk openly about it. This is not a matter of left or right, liberalism or conservatism. It is a matter of basic morals and values ​​- Christian, universal, as you want to call them.
