For the first meeting, the Riga Philharmonic Project Implementation Supervision Council / Day

The tasks of the Supervisory Board are to monitor the progress of the project implementation and, if necessary, to prepare proposals for the successful implementation of the project, to organize the Supervisory Board meetings in person as necessary (but at least every 3 months) in person to assess the results of the project and the effectiveness of the activities performed, monitor the cooperation of the institutions involved in the project, other tasks for the implementation of the project.

At the first meeting, the Supervisory Board heard the information provided by the Riga City Council Property Department on tuning the Riga Philharmonic Project with the responsible institutions, discussed the scope of the construction cost construction cost, including the attraction of the acoustics expert, and heard the information provided by the designers about the planning of the Riga Philharmonic Building and possible changes to the plan. Similarly, information on the need to correction of the boundaries of the Congress House land units, as well as possible patterns of catering and management in the Riga Philharmonic Building.

The Supervisory Council is chaired by Minister of Culture Agnese Lace (P), her deputy – State Secretary Dace Wilson, its members are Timur Tomsons, Chairman of the Council of Joseph Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, VSIA Latvian National Symphony Orchestra Expert Aigars Kalniņš, VSIA Latvian concerts Board member Guntars Kirsis (which in the absence of replacing Latvian concerts Martins Mikelsons, Head of Technical Department), Adviser to the Prime Minister in European Union Funds Ints Dalderis, Architect, Societies Latvian Association of Architects Member of the Council, Gatis Didrihsons, Chairman of the National Architecture Council, architect, associations Latvian Association of Architects President, Member of the National Council of Architecture Juris Poga, Architect, Societies Latvian Association of Architects Member of the Board Dace Kalvāne, Vladimir Ozolins, Director of the Property Department of the Riga National Municipality, Arta Goldberg, Head of Architects of the Construction Board of the Riga National Municipal Property Department, Head of the National Heritage Board, Vivita Viksna-Bārbale, Deputy Head of Legal Affairs.
