This spring has been relatively successful for the Latvian manufacturing industry.

In April 2025, compared to the corresponding month of 2024, the turnover of manufacturing increased by 7%, according to calendar -adjusted data at current prices. Turnover in the domestic market increased by 6.2%, while exports increased by 7.4%(a 20.7%rise in the eurozone and a decrease of 3.1%outside the eurozone).

In April this year, the turnover of manufacturing decreased by 1.1%compared to March of this year. In the domestic market, the turnover decreased by 1%, exports by 1.1%(although the eurozone was 3.2%, but outside the eurozone – the drop by 5.1%). This is revealed by the data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).
