Football: RSC Hamsik Academy will receive 50,000 euros from the government of the Slovak Republic

Banská Bystrica. In recent weeks, much has been talked about financial problems RSC Hamsik Academyfor which players did not have paid wages.

The situation is so serious that next season Hamšíkovci will no longer operate under the status of the Academy, but as an ÚMM – Department of Talented Youth.

The pupils’ categories will continue until the fate of adolescents and men is still questionable. It is possible that the A does not register for the third league, but only to the lower competition.

The legendary Marek Hamšík, who also publicly commented on the whole situation, who In the official opinion he admittedthat he put hundreds of thousands of his own pocket into the club. And this is not how he does not want to continue.

The problems of the Academy, which covers more than three hundred children, dealt with on Wednesday 30 April and Government of the Slovak Republic. As they write Bystricoviny.skpre Hamšíkovcov approved 50,000 euros for material and technical and personnel provision of raising children and youth.

“Today I had the opportunity to visit the football academy of Marek Hamšík, which is one of the top centers of the education of young sports talents in Slovakia.

I greatly appreciate the meeting with Marek Hamšík, the icon of our sport. Together, we discussed how the state can contribute to the development of sports infrastructure and even better system support system.

My ambition is to create conditions in which young athletes will progress not only in sports, but also as personalities. Youth is the future of Slovak sport – and we want to support it and we will support it, « said Rudolf Huliak – Minister of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic.

The Hamšík Academy was established in 2022 by merging FK Rakytovce and Jupie football school Marek Hamšík.

It has a respectable area in Rudlová, with large artificial grass and artificial lighting, one playground with natural grass, three other areas with artificial grass, one of which is covered by an inflatable tent.

The value of the area is EUR 5 million. The former representative invested his own money.
