First semifinals/ Barcelona-inter official formations are discovered
Barcelona and Inter will face the Champions League again, this time in the semifinals, with a ticket to the big final to be played on May 31 in Munich.
The teams come with different shapes and objectives: the Catalans are motivated after winning the King’s Cup and dreaming of the triplet, while Inter have lost this opportunity, but remains dangerous and hungry for success.
The first match takes place tonight at Estadio Olympico in Montjuïc at 9pm, while the return meeting is scheduled for May 6 at San Siro. The challenge judge is the Frenchman Clément Shame.
Official formations:
Barcelona (4-2-1-3): Szczesny; KOSTE, CUBarsí, Iñigo Martínez, Gerard Martín; de Jong, Pedri; Dani Olmo; Yamal, Ferran Torres, Raphinha. Trainer: Hansi Flick.
The German coach returns the same lineup as the King’s Cup Clasico against Real Madrid. The attack is led by Ferran Torres instead of Lewandowski, while Dani Olmo is preferred in the role of offensive midfielder against Fermin Lopez. Szczesny protects the gate.
Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Bisseck, acerbi, bet; Dumfries, baarella, calhanoglu, mkhitaryan, dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro. Trainer: Simone Inzaghi.
Simone Inzaghi recovers Marcus Thuram, who returns to the attack alongside Lautaros. In defense, Bisseck replaces the injured Pavard, while in midfield the standard formation with dumfries and Dimarco in the wings returns.
