Fire in the warehouse of a carpentry in Dinkelscherben
A fire broke out in a warehouse in Dinkelscherben around 11 a.m. on Sunday. In the middle of the village, in the area of Mühlenweg/Mühlangerstraße, a warehouse was on fire. The smoke development was enormous. Smoke clouds could be seen for miles at that time. The fire brigade, police and emergency services were on site for hours with a large contingent to extinguish the flames. Wood was apparently stored in the warehouse. According to the fire brigade, the warehouse belongs to a local carpentry.

Four people were injured in the mission, including two firefighters. As the German press agency (dpa) reported on Sunday evening, they came to the hospital with slight smoke injuries. Around 200 emergency services were used on Sunday to extinguish the flames. In addition to the fire brigades from the market town of Dinkelscherben and the surrounding area, the weir from Neusäß had moved in. The extinguishing work continued on Sunday evening. There was also a crane with which vehicles were to be pulled out of the burned -out hall.
Deleting the hall was not easy, reports the district fire council. In order to protect the surrounding buildings, attempts were made to let the hall burn down. There are several houses in the immediate vicinity of the warehouse. They are not in danger, reports the fire chief in the early Sunday afternoon. The cause of the fire was still unclear on Sunday.
