Finnair announced new cancellations on Thursday – impact on 12,000 customers
Air service|Trade unions are demonstrating at the same time as Finnair holds its general meeting.
Carrier Finnair will cancel more than 40 flights on Thursday in addition to the previously reportedly reportedly reported. The reason is the demonstrations of trade unions.
Cancellations are estimated to affect 12,000 customers.
According to Finnair, the demonstration affects activities that are relevant to airport, such as airport customer service, luggage handling and other country services, which interferes with smooth operations. Therefore, in its announcement, Finnair says it will have to cancel a total of 110 flights from Thursday.
Luggage loading may also be disturbed and flight delays are possible.
Finnair therefore recommends packing the most important things, such as medicines for hand luggage.
Aviation Union IAU’s IAU, Civil Airline SLT, Open Technology Department ATA and the Finnish Association of Civil Airport Transport and Transport Workers AKT, have announced the expression on Thursday, March 27 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The demonstration is carried out at the same time as Finnair holds its general meeting.
