Impulse for a conversation with Guna Oshkaln-Wild is her photo exhibition Linden… Alexander Chuck Museum in Riga. The personality that inspires

« It’s a joy and honor to be present. I dare to speak to people. Exhibitions from such meetings are made up of such meetings, friends remain, » Guna emphasizes, adding that she has never met her grandparents, probably loving and respecting older people. With the brightness, the photographic artist tells about getting to know the choreographer, dancer and educator Vija Vētra. « I have had the happiness to follow her since she started traveling to Latvia in the 1990s, » says Guna. The first meeting was a coincidence. On behalf of the newspaper, Guna photographed the event at the Riga Latvian Society House. In the intermission, slowly turned to watch the audience. « One row was sitting behind me by Vija Storm. We weren’t familiar, but I was so eager to photograph her that I went and said, » Hello! «  » Exchanged phone numbers. Since Vija Storm entered Latvia, one of the first calls has been to Guna. « We have dear paths for walks – at the Opera Lilac, Acacia, then Vermane Garden, then the next park. In the past she did not get under the hand, but last time leaning on. I have tried to slow down my quick course, but Vija feels and doesn’t want to accept. with self -confidence. «
