Filmed over 40 boys in dressing and are charged with rape

The sport brings together children and young people in communities where trust and confidence should be a matter of course. But in Roskilde, that confidence has been broken at the roughest.

A 44-year-old man who was previously employed as a football coach at a local ball club is expected to confess on Wednesday to confess to a series of serious assaults against underage boys.

According to information from Zealand news that has gained access to legal material, the man must have filmed 42 boys in a dressing room without their knowledge and consent.

According to the documents, the abuignment violations were committed over several months ahead of his arrest last April.

The man had access to the children’s dressing room through his role as a coach and allegedly exploited the position to film the boys in the hidden. All the affected victims are minors.

But the prosecutors do not stop at the hidden recordings. In addition to the 42 abuses, the man is also charged with rape by a nine or ten-year-old boy.

The suspected assault must have happened in 2014 or 2015 and be described as a sexual relationship other than intercourse.

The case must be dealt with as a confessional case, and the prosecution has therefore prepared a hearing request that maps the central conditions and the man’s alleged acts.

« The wronged are all underage boys, » says the document sent to the court in Roskilde.

The purpose of Wednesday’s hearing is to clarify whether the accused really recognizes all the charges.

The case has aroused considerable attention, not least in the local community, where many are now questioning how such serious violations could take place in a children’s environment that should be characterized by safety and care.
