Filipce: With Mickoski we agreed to work on the reform agenda, again I call for a leadership meeting
SDSM President Venko Filipce clarified today that at yesterday’s meeting with Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski agreed to cooperate with regard to the growth agenda for the growth plan in which the first group of laws are in the field of judiciary, energy, culture and culture. Filipce once again called for a meeting with the leaders of all parliamentary parties, including Albanian parties. He again denies that it is a monetary meeting, stressing that when it comes to the interest of the state the parties should not be divided.
– The meeting went well and I have to say it contructively. We have brought a common stance to start, find a way to work on the reform agenda, as never before the example of developed democracies. Sweden has such an example, Germany has such an example, we will continue to be politically different, but when it comes to the state we must all sit together and solve problems. No one has enough human capacity and potential for a short time to do something. And in that sense we have to unite the most important issues – said Filipce, who attended an event in Strumica today on the occasion of the second phase of the social settlement project.
Make it clear that it is a reform agenda on the Growth Plan made by the SDSM government and then the current one, which he signed in Brussels.
-There are seven to eight things with clear laws and a clear timeline when those laws need to be passed. The first group of laws are in the field of judiciary, which we all say should be reformed in an appropriate way, energy, culture and digitization part. We will identify experts in those areas and offer them to the ministries as part of the law drafting process, and it is possible to continue in the National Council for European Integration and for additional debate with expert groups in the civil sector, which is very important because it needs to be included and of course different expert associations.
Speaking about the party’s reactions from the Albanian bloc, Filipce again initiated a meeting of the leaders.
« I called for a meeting of the presidents of all parties, one of the presidents of an Albanian party said it would be a waste of time, and now they are not blamed for any monetary meeting. The meeting came from the tragedy in Kocani when we saw that there are issues important for the development of the state for which all political entities must cooperate whether we have a different political background, the policies we are implementing and planning to implement in the future, Filipce said.
At the meeting yesterday, as he said, he represented SDSM, and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski VMRO-DPMNE and they met as leaders of the two largest parties in the Macedonian bloc.
– At the same time, the Prime Minister was the first to notice that meeting without any remark. I absolutely think that in the next period we should continue to organize the leaders of all major politics parties and this is still my call, including the parties of the Albanian bloc, although I do not see any need to divide ourselves as parties from the Macedonian and Albanian block when it comes to the interest of the state.
