Kripo Trier: Simone Dewenter – Discovered dead in the stream (December 29, 2002)

On January 1, 2003, a female body next to a parking lot will be discovered on a country road near Trier. The young woman is only slightly dressed, but wears a cochlea implant. This is a special hearing aid that is later identified. The deceased is 30-year-old Simone Dewenter from Cologne, who is deaf from birth.

Simone lives together with her partner and a friend in a shared apartment for deaf people. Since she rely on social assistance, she takes care of another additional earnings: together with the girlfriend of her roommate, she occasionally works on the street in the nearby Bonn.

On the evening of December 29, 2002, Simone is on the road again with her girlfriend. At 9:20 p.m., this observes how Simone rises into a white van. After that, her trace is lost. The perpetrator drives around 150 kilometers towards Trier with Simone. In a parking lot on a country road, there is a previously unexplained incident that ends in a dispute and a fight, in which Simone is killed.

Kripo Ulm: Sabine Rahn-18-year-olds found dead in the forest (March 11, 1983)

On the evening of March 11, 1983, 18-year-old Sabine Rahn left the home of her parents in the Heidenheim district of Schnaitheim at around 8 p.m. She planned to meet a friend near the « Coupé » disco in the city center. But she never reaches the meeting point.

Three days later, on March 14th, young people make a terrible discovery: in a forest near Nattheim, just a few kilometers from Sabine's home town, you will find the body of the young woman. She was a victim of rape and was killed by with the help of her scarf.

In the 1990s, the criminal police managed to further examine the traces secured at the scene with the help of DNA analyzes. In this context, around 400 men are asked to hand over saliva samples – but without success. In 2022, the case was re-recorded by the Cold Case Department of the Kripo Ulm.

Kripo Cologne: Norbert Stolz – Knife attack on a soldier (June 24, 1989)

On the night of June 24, 1989, the 20-year-old soldier Norbert Stolz was employed as part of his guard service in the Butzweilerhof barracks in Cologne. In addition to him, only another soldier is present, but is in custody. Between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. there is a mysterious incident: an unknown perpetrator reaches the room in which Norbert proudly sleeps and attacks him with a knife. The attacker adds a total of eleven stitches to the soldier, which kills him. The perpetrator escapes undetected. The next morning, the comrades from Norbert Stolz find his bloody body.
