Fight of the unions: OGBL against Syprolux

The OGBL union held a vigil in front of the CFL seat on Wednesday because it accuses the company management of « a worrying deterioration of the social dialogue within the CFL ». According to OGBL, around 500 people, including bus drivers, employees and railroaders, gathered in front of the company headquarters. In the case of duty roses, for example, the OGBL (FNCTTFELL-LANDESverband) accuses the management of “acting in a complete contradiction to the personnel status” and openly disregarded the applicable regulations.

The CFL directorate, on the other hand, explains that the Syprolux railway union had submitted concrete suggestions for shift work, the introduction of an operational premium, on-call duty and career development. As the competitive union explains to the OGBL, a declaration of intent was signed with the CFL directorate on Friday. The staff was informed about the content.

« This declaration of intent is the result of discussions that were conducted in accordance with the tradition of social dialogue within the CFL, » says the CFL directorate. It should now be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the personnel statute.

With almost 5,000 employees, the CFL is the largest employer in Luxembourg outside the state administration.
