Fight of reality stars 2025: Start and broadcast dates

The reality TV show “Fight of Reality Stars” has been running on TV since 2020. The show has so far been presented by the moderator Cathy Hummels and has quickly established itself to an integral part of the German reality TV world. In the show, various celebrities from the reality TV scene compete against each other in the competition. These participants are mostly actors, singers or entertainers, known from shows such as « Big Brother », « The Bachelor », « Love Island » or « Germany’s Next Top Model ». The series is shot on the beach of Thailand.

The course of the show looks like this: a group of celebrities moves to accommodation on the beach. There you have to solve tasks together and play games that test skill, knowledge and teamwork. New celebrities then add to the group at regular intervals, which can often cause conflicts. At the end of each episode, the candidates finally coordinate who has to leave the accommodation. This decision also has factors such as the opinion of the spectators or a special ‘power letter’. After several weeks, the remaining stars finally fight for the title « Reality Star of the Year » and a prize money of 50,000 euros.

« Fight of Reality Stars » 2025: Start of the new episodes

The RTL2 show « Fight of Reality Stars » goes into a new round. From May 7, 2025, a total of 22 participants from the areas of television, film, social media and boulevard will compete in various competitions on free TV. On the streaming platform RTL+ the first episode has been available since April 30. The aim is to win the title « Realitystar 2025 ». In addition to the title, a winning bonus of 50,000 euros is waving.

The broadcast of the new season of “Fight of Reality Stars” is on Wednesdays at 8:15 p.m. RTL2. So far, there is no official statement about the number of episodes. Since ten episodes have been shown in the past seasons, a similar length is also obvious for the sixth season.

Where is « Struggle of Reality Stars » broadcast in 2025?

As before, the transmission is transferred to the show RTL2. So one is over again the « struggle of the reality stars » RTL+ can stream. In addition, the individual episodes can be called up at the streaming provider a week before the TV broadcast. However, the premium subscription, which is currently available (as of April 2025) for 8.99 euros a month.

Who is moderating the 6th season of « Fight of Reality Stars »?

So far, Cathy Hummels’ show has been taken over. However, this announced on Instagram this year: « Now the hour of truth has come: I say goodbye to the struggle of reality stars! » She justifies her exit that her son Ludwig has now come to school and can no longer travel with her so easily. She wants to concentrate more on her child and family. Her role takes on Arabella Kiesbauer in the new season.
