What does Robert Fico answer? They accuse them of being paid from abroad, that they were manipulated by the opposition and the media. He will not be pushing for the dismissal of the heads of the institutes who signed the letter?
All of this is more likely than a confession that he has offended all experts with the support of all experts.

We, down the signed doctors and pharmacists from three Banská Bystrica hospitals, the FC Hospital FD Roosevelta, the Children’s University Hospital and the Central Slovak Institute of Heart and Vascular Diseases are sharply distanced from vaguely based, unscientific and often nonsensical claims of the Government of the Slovak Republic. MUDr. Peter Kotlár has attestation in the fields of orthopedics and physical medicine and currently does not perform any clinical practice. Therefore, we do not understand what qualifies him to comment on the vaccination, our work and work of our colleagues, the State Institute of State Institute for Control of Medicines, Pharmacists and Researchers in the MRNA Vaccine, a technology that existed long before the Covid-9 pandemic.
By acquiring the title of general medicine, the graduate does not automatically obtain the prerequisites for commenting on any highly specialized issue. Although the pregraduate study of medicine is demanding, the dominant and most important part of our knowledge is gained by the doctor with a much more demanding specialized study and clinical practice. Without the implementation of clinical practice, the doctor is practically not practicing, no one controls the scope and quality of his further education, and therefore becomes less and less relevant for medicine.
We, doctors and pharmacists from three Banská Bystrica hospitals, FD Roosevelt Faculty Hospital, Children’s University Hospital and the Central Slovak Institute of Heart and Vascular Diseases, are remembered by the period of the COVID-19 pandemic as an extremely demanding period and would not want it to happen again.
Roosevelt’s hospital had 127 occupied only at the top of the pandemic of its 910 beds only by patients diagnosed with Covid-19. At one point, there was an artificial lung ventilation in Roosevelt’s hospital due to Covid-19 to 23 adult patients. Some of them also required extracorporeal blood oxygenation (ECMO) to survive. Thanks to the significant assistance of colleagues, children’s intensiveists, we managed to build together in the Roosevelt Hospital ECMO Center and thus help the most critical patients who would otherwise die.
In the children’s hospital there was a significant overload of hospital beds serious consequences of Covid-19 itself. Pediatric inflammatory multisystemic syndrome (PIMS), which occurred weeks after overcoming a slight infection of Covid-19 in some children.
In the Central Slovak Institute of Cardiac and Vascular Diseases, planned operations and interventions were suspended for the pandemic, resulting in patients on the waiting documents died to postpone performance. Patients with acute cardiac disease and concurrently with Covid-19 infection required demanding management, which overloaded the whole system.
The need for care for a high number of patients at risk of life has required the Roosevelt hospital to move staff from other departments, which could therefore not be optimal to care for their patients. It was necessary to perform the service on Covid-19 units beyond our normal services. At the same time, we worked a lot of hours in the vaccination center and vaccinated against Covid-19 and the way of trips to our vaccination teams to socially weak and disadvantaged groups.
In this unprecedented global situation, our procedures were reassessed almost daily in accordance with the world’s recommendations that have developed dynamically and changed to save as many human lives as possible. We were not subject to any media and unskilled pressure to give people to COVID-19 working medicines, for example, designed to treat diseases caused by parasites.
