Fewer accidents during play in the school yard: Primary school students must take “Outdoor driving license”

Swings in the head, blood spout from footballs and skin abrasions from prisoners. Now it must be over with uncontrolled activity in the free quarters.

A new nationwide initiative launched by the Board of School Environment and Movement means that students from 1st grade and up now have to complete a mandatory theory test in basic check -out techniques such as races, skiing and prisoners – and achieving the so -called recreational driver’s license before they are allowed to throw themselves into daily play.

It writes the media Ranslirpa.

According to the board, it is about security and « bringing structure and responsibility into the otherwise lawless world of the schoolyard. »

« Too many students are running, without seeing themselves. We see decidedly round-ostrich clashes, troubled climbing trials and unauthorized jumps down from the shed. With the free-quarter driver’s license, the children get a basic understanding of rules and risks, » says specialist consultant in Children’s Game, Jytte Spanggaard, who has helped design the test.

The test consists of three parts:

  1. Theory: Students need to answer questions like « When to take someone in prison? » And « What is the safety distance when chopping in group? »

  2. Maneuver test: Here the children are tested in directional change during running, braking on asphalt and proper arm placement at the cast with frisbee.

  3. Ethics and Morality: A short oral test about fair play, mocked after football matches and the legal validity of the shame hook.
