Fetai: AA is part of the government, Mickoski will have separate meetings with coalition partners in the coming days
Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Good Governance Arben Fetai said in a statement to the media in a statement to the Alliance of Albanians led by Arben Taravari remaining in the government team and that the work in the executive is normal.
– AA is in the government, there are no plans to change our positions in the government. We continue to work, as if nothing has changed. Yesterday we had a government session that did not say any concerns – Fetai said at an event to mark the International Book Day in Kumanovo.
The Deputy Prime Minister confirmed that Prime Minister Christian Mickoski will have separate meetings with the AA coalition partners in the coming days.
– He (Taravari) has daily contacts with Prime Minister Mickoski and coalition partners. Some of us have said, and I say that cooperation continues in the government. We continue to do our job, as if nothing happened, and I believe you have seen media reports that in the coming days the prime minister will have consultations, separately with the parties, the coalition of the VLL, the Alliance for Albanians, I know. Nothing has changed so far, until the consultations expected to take place in the coming days. I believe there is no room for one -sided moves from any party and that the stability of this government must be considered. AA with its five lawmakers is crucial to the stability of this composition – he said.
Asked how the Alliance for Albanians of Taravari will run in the local elections, ie whether he will coalition with the opposition parties, Fetai emphasized that at this stage he does not want to prejudge and that their party will find a solution to the best offer for the citizens.
– I do not want to prejudge the outcome of the different contacts that occur at this stage. For the time being, as we discuss and while there is no decision among the coalition partners, we are part of the government. We are not excluded, we continue to contribute to the parliamentary majority. Our MPs continue to do their job, and we in the executive. I hope that a solution is offered by the best offer for the citizens of this country, both for the local elections and the early parliamentary elections if they happen and whenever they happen – said Fetai.
