The Salzburg Felsenreitschule in particular know primarily as a cinema show area – the striking stage has its big appearance in the US musical « Sound of Music » (« My Songs – My Dreams »), which is primarily loved in the USA). Ferris wheel and bond installation
The rocky school is now in a league with the Viennese Ferris wheel (thanks to « The Third Man ») and the bond installation « 007 Elements » in Sölden at 3,000 meters above sea level. The Felsenreitschule is one of a total of eleven new additions on the treasure map, which comprises a total of 60 locations. With the list « Treasures of European Film Culture », the EFA, based in Berlin, has been awarding places « with symbolic importance for the European cinema » since 2015, which « must also be preserved and protected for the successor renovations ».
Also new in the illustrious circle are also the train station in Liège, Belgium, the Berghotel Schatzalp in Davos or the Koninklijk Theater Tuschinski in Amsterdam.
