Federal Police puts eight-fold rapist on ‘Most Wanted’ list: « A wolf in sheepskin » (Wommelgem)

Andy de Wolf was found guilty of the rape of eight women on 7 April, all ex-partners of the man. The investigation started after his most recent partner filed a complaint against him. She put an end to their relationship in October 2021, and went to the police.

The woman stated that the wolf was dominant and isolated her from friends and family. He humiliated and hit her, even when she was highly pregnant, and forced her to have sex with other men. The defendant denied all the facts and said that his ex-partners had forged a conspiracy against him. The psychiatric study showed that he has an antisocial and narcissistic personality disorder and that there is a high risk of future partner violence. He has no problem or debt insight.

Immediate arrest

The court considered all the facts proven: he made eight women to between 2011 and 2023. He was sentenced to eight years in prison, after which he will be made available for the criminal court for five years.

The court also ordered his immediate arrest in view of the recidivism and flight hazard. After his release, the defendant had committed new facts under conditions and was also in hiding when the police wanted to interrogate him. However, the man turned out to be missing after his conviction.
