A fatal work accident occurred in Southeast Styria on Friday: a 48-year-old is likely to get into a snail with his clothing and contracted fatal injuries. At around 2:00 p.m., according to the police, a 19-year-old was busy taking a 19-year-old with a Hackschnitzel court wheel. Meanwhile, his work colleague supervised the position of the pendulum snail.
When the 19-year-old returned, he remarked that the 48-year-old had got into the worm with his clothes. The emergency switch was in a blocked engine room and could only be operated with the help of another worker who was in the immediate vicinity.
The two colleagues made an emergency call and tried to free the man. The arrived rescue and police forces carried out resuscitation measures. These were unsuccessful. The 48-year-old still succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. (APA)
