Fanta Volley volleyball players are Macedonian youth champions

Fanta Volley is the new volleyball Macedonian champion in the women’s youth competition.

Young volleyball players at Fanta Volley in the final of the final Final Four Tournament at the Jane Sandanski Sports Center in Skopje reached a 0-2 triumph of 3-2 in sets (22-25, 22-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-8) by defeating Nakovski title defender.

The Strumica team had a great start to the match, where despite the great resistance of the team of Fanta reached a 2-0 lead in sets. The opponent returned to the third set and reduced to 2-1. In the fourth set Nakovski Volley had a 21-19 lead and it seemed that things were going to his favor, but the Skopje squad didn’t think so. He equalized 21-21, and then did not allow the rival to use the set ball at 23-24, but returned and took the match to the tie-break 26-24. Fanta Volley volleyball players knew what they wanted in the decisive set and led by captain Meri Boskovska with a complete comeback reached the championship.

As a real overture for the final was the duel for the bronze medal, which was also resolved after a great fight in five sets, where Rabotnicki Skopje beat Gazeli Volley 3-25, 25-15, 25-15, 18-25, 15-9).
