Family tragedy. Two children and grandmother will rest together
The 51-year-old prison guard arranged a bloody Jatka on Friday, March 28 late in the evening. In his family home in Prusice (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship) he pulled out a weapon and first shot Grażyna K.’s mother-in-law and his 5-year-old daughter Kinga, and later scored a 9-year-old son Julian and himself. The boy died a few days later in the hospital. The perpetrator of the drama is fighting life. He underwent two operations, but doctors still assess his condition as critical.

Possible causes of the drama came to light quickly. It turns out that the perpetrator of the tragedy was in the process of divorce with his wife Justyna. Everything indicates that the 51-year-old wanted to take revenge on his wife, killing children and her mother. Only the wife of the perpetrator, also the guardian of the prison service, survived. The tragedy was to take place after a quarrel with his wife. First, the torturer aimed the weapon at his mother -in -law, and then shot his daughter, pulling her away from his mother first and fired her to her son. Before execution, he was to say to his wife « you will suffer now ».
Grandmother and grandchildren will rest in one grave
Two children-5-year-old Kinga and 9-year-old Julian will be buried this Tuesday at the parish cemetery in Wieruszów. They will rest next to his beloved grandmother Grażyna. Information about the funeral was provided by the Prusice commune. « In these moments we connect in pain with families and loved ones of the dead, » wrote officials, informing about the celebrations. « Their departure left emptiness in the hearts of many of us. On the day of the funeral, let’s honor them with a minute of silence, » they appealed.
Funeral ceremonies will start on April 8 at 14 Holy Mass in the church of St. Stanisława at ul. Warszawska in Wieruszów (Łódź Voivodeship). Later, the bodies of the victims of the shooting will be moved during a solemn transition to the local parish cemetery and laid in a common grave.

Inhabitants of the Prusice commune still cannot shake off the tragedy. « I still can’t believe it, I think every day and I can’t recover, I also have children at this age. Let them rest in peace » – wrote one of the commentators. The priest also posted goodbye. « Let the merciful God open to them the gate of heaven with prayer, » added Fr. Maksymilian.
