Citroën has been renovating its model palette in recent months. After long preparations, a brand new C3 model was sent to the market before the end of the year, and now the C3 Aircross, which is similar in many ways but significantly larger, acts as a family carrier.

The C3 Aircross year 2025 is the third generation of a model with this name. It measures 439 centimeters in length, which is 23 centimeters more than its predecessor and even 38 centimeters more than the new C3 long. This is a really considerable difference.

The design is interesting, but it is not original, as we immediately recognize that the basis for it is C3. It may work a little more robust, even the ground clearance is slightly larger, 20 centimeters. Of course, this is not an SUV, as it only has an anterior drive.

The interior is also related to those in C3, with a relatively small steering wheel and a narrow waist to display driving data above it. In the middle of the dashboard, with better equipment, there is a smaller multifunctional touch screen, and at the inlet, a smartphone holder, through which you carry, watch, listen to different information if desired. The front seats are wide, with better equipment further thick.

The second species is expected more spacious than in C3, especially in the five -seater version. Still, I miss some longitudinal movement. In the seven -seater variant, the second species is moved further. The boot measures 470 liters in a five -seater version, in the seven -seater, with the rear row, in which it is accessed only from the driver’s side, the space is a little, and if folded, it is 330 liters.

Also, Aircross, like the C3 behind, has a kind of hydraulic suspension that should emphasize driving comfort. There are more options for drives, the base is the 1.2-liter petrol turbo triple-cylinder (74 kW) with a manual transmission, the next option is a mild hybrid that combines the same engine in a stronger version (100 kW) with an electrical power built into an automatic transmission with two clutches. Alternatively, the new Aircross can also be completely electric with 44 or 54 kWh battery.

Like the C3, the newcomers are manufactured in Trnava, Slovakia, and both may come from Kragujevac in the future, where the primary production of a related Fiat Grande Panda is supposed to be.

The C3 Aircross is on average two thousand more expensive than the C3. With an entry petrol engine, it costs at least 18,500 euros, and this performance is expected to be the most interesting for customers. Mild hybrid, which is only available since medium equipment, is at least $ 23,500, and a completely electric aircross before a subsidy of 27,000. This is the price for performing with a smaller battery, the stronger it will only be available later. Let’s also say that a completely electric C3 Aircross is only possible in five seats. This year, they are planning to sell 480 petrol and hybrid Aircrosses, and only 30 electric ones.
