« Fakt » reached the details of the hearing of Mieszko R.
The cruel attack took place on May 7 at the campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw. On that day, a 22-year-old law student was seen in his hometown of the Tri-City, and then went to the capital and appeared at the University of Warsaw.
Investigative findings show that he certainly appeared in at least one class. Just before 19 there was a macabre crime. When Mrs. Małgorzata, working at the Porterium Auditorium Maximum, closed the door, was attacked with an ax. The injuries were so serious that the woman died on the spot. A 39-year-old guard was also wounded, who threw himself at his friend’s help. The man was hospitalized. Until the end of the day he was fought for his life. Fortunately, his condition is stable today.
The police arrived within four minutes of receiving the signal and arrested Mieszko R., a third -year student of the Warsaw University. It turned out that he also had bayonet and knives. A day later, investigators informed that a young man was questioned in the company of his lawyer.
The prosecutor’s office and defense of Mieszko R. in the dispute
According to prosecutor Piotr Antoni Skiba, the 22-year-old was to confirm that he was pleased to be charged, although he refused to answer most of the questions. Patron Maciej Zaborowski, a defender of the suspect, claims, however, that his client did not confirm his fault at any time. And he believes that in such an important issue there can be no half measures.
He also referred to the position of the spokesperson of the prosecutor’s office, who said that recording was included during the interrogation. In the opinion of a lawyer, all doubts can be easily clarified thanks to recordings and protocols, which is why official statements should be formulated carefully. He also added that he learned the content of the allegations from press reports, which in his opinion puts into question the correct course of the entire procedure.
Maciej Zaborowski, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office, referred to the words of Maciej Zaborowski. – My response to all this is that it bodes badly to the suspect at a later stage of the proceedings, if his defender listens with more attention to the statements of the spokesperson of the District Prosecutor’s Office, and not the content of the explanations of the protocol of the protocol of the interrogation of his client, which is to be signed by him – says prosecutor Piotr Antoni Skiba.

On Friday, May 9, a meeting was held, at which the court decided in the case of a request for temporary arrest of Mieszko R. – I talked to one of two prosecutors of clerks. If there are questions in this matter, he will tell how it looked – prosecutor Skiba explained to us in the morning.
From the information « Fakt » also shows that the question of whether Mieszko R. admits to committing an act, he refused to answer all questions, but then within two hours he testified that « he would like to do it and the word: » I did it « . – Is it a confession or not. In my opinion: yes – the prosecutor Skiba assesses and does not hide that this is not the first case in which the investigators are attacked. This is another matter, where the defense is covered with certain information and begins to attack the prosecutor’s office – he tells us.
After today’s meeting, the prosecutor of the Warsaw Śródmieście District Prosecutor’s Office Kamil Kowalczyk confirmed that Mieszko R. pleaded guilty.
– he explained, answered the court’s questions and mine, describing the murder of the victim and the entire sequence of events. There is no doubt that he confessed. Now he said how he made this murder and what motives he managed. He explained this in such a way that he was convinced that « there are predators and victims in the world » – he emphasizes.
