Extraordinary reception for us by AFF and Duke, do not attack coach
The Serbian Football Federation has reacted to attacks on Serbian media on national team coach Dragan Stojkovic, who praised the atmosphere created in the National Arena on Saturday during the match between Albania and Serbia.
In an official statement to the media, the Serbian Federation calls the behavior of Albanian fans, unjustly, as a loss for football. But he appreciates the behavior of the AFF and President Armand Duka for the treatment of the Serbian national team.
« Before the ugly truth, which our players confronted in the field, we want to emphasize the fact that the whole expedition of the Serbian Football Federation, from the first minute to the last minute of their stay in the Albanian capital, had a tremendous reception from the Football Federation of Albania and President Armand Duke.
With gratitude to the Football Federation of Albania for the hospitality during our stay in Tirana, we condemn everything that could be heard and seen from the national stadium stands, ”reads Federation’s statement.
The Serbian Federation calls absurd that the media reports that Stojkovic supports extremists, as at the post -match conference he appreciated the atmosphere, without commenting on calls that were extremist for the Serbian side. « I want to condemn any cheers that offend the Serbian people and the Serbian national team, or anyone else.
