The fire covered the vacancy, in which there were tanks with an unknown chemical. The firefighting action ended on Wednesday (May 14) in the morning, but the services worked on the spot until late afternoon. It turned out to be inside the corpse of a man was found middle -aged. He was wearing a protective dress and a gas mask.
– Until now, this man has not been established – says prosecutor Tomasz Ozimek, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Częstochowa in an interview with « Fakt ». – The prosecutor with policemen inspected the place of the incident yesterday. It was found that there was an explosion in the hall, which was the cause of the fire. In the interior of the hall we revealed substances and devices that were used for drug production – he added.
The expert will assess the content of chemicals
Chemical substances have already been transferred to an expert, which will determine their composition. The autopsy results will be crucial, which is to shed light on who the deceased was and how his death occurred. – We must determine whether the man’s death occurred as a result of some injuries, poisoning, or whether it occurred as a result of an explosion – added prosecutor Tomasz Ozimek.
Was Ludwinów a place of drug laboratory? Was the explosion the result of a failed production? Investigators must now answer these questions.
