Our electricity installers will replace electricity meters in the area until summer.
The installers will get around the area and you have to do nothing before. If you are not home when the installer comes, he or she puts a card in the mailbox.
Our electricity network states that you can always know our electricity installers, as there is our electricity grid on both the installer’s car, clothing and ID card.
80,000 electricity meters need to be replaced
Over the next four years, our electricity grid will change a total of 80,000 electricity meters in Funen. The new electricity meters are Landis+Gyr E360 electricity meters that meet the market requirements and are more stable, making it easier for our electricity grid to get data from the electricity meters.
– By replacing the old electricity meters, we can get much more information out of the meters. This means that we can use the meter’s data to improve the electricity grid to a much greater extent, says Niels Holstein, head of installation and measurement technique at our electricity grid.
For example, the new electricity meters can send an alarm in connection with a power outage so that our electricity grid can respond much faster if more electricity meters in an area notify a power switch.
