Exhibition of theater photos by Karolina Micevska in Prilep
Tonight, at 7.30 pm, the photo exhibition « 75 for 75 » will be opened in the lobby of FC « Marko Cepenkov ». The author of the project is Karolina Micevska. 75 photographs will be exhibited on the canvas, and shows that have left a mark in the decade -long existence of the Vojdan Chernodrinski Theater, which marks the 75th anniversary of its existence this year.
– The « Vojdan Chernodrinski » television player has existed for 75 years and will exist, telling us about the past, the present, but focusing on the future. Of all the arts, only theater is a direct mediator with the audience and therefore we need it. It is light in itself, which shines on all sides and is recognizable to every person. The purpose of the theater at all times was and will be, as Hamlet says, « to stand as a mirror before nature, to show the virtue with her true face, as well as nolofence, every century in history – with its unresponsive form … ». And our theater, indeed through the decades, growing and developing, was different and through the plays it raised many questions, commented, enlightened, excited, revealed, established a system of values, r was, « the author of the exhibition said.
More than 350 premieres have been shown so far, more than 7,000 plays have been played, seen by over 1.7 million people. Among the first theaters began with the placement of domestic drama texts, so texts were experienced by Macedonian playwrights – Kole Chashule, Tome Arsovski, Blagoja Risteski – Platnar, Trajce Krsteski, Vasile Dimeski, Petar Petreski. A precious place that tells stories that remain permanently engraved in history, not only in the city but also in the Macedonian theater. It is noteworthy that Over the years, Blagoja Damevski, 62, has been directed most of the years, and Kole Angelovski and M. have been signed 24 times. Stefanovski. There are 282 texts directed by 70 directors. Author B. Juvic has been set 15 times, of which three times – the text « Sadly Family », in the period 1950/51, 1962/63 and 1984/85. Thousands of photographs are part of the archive of the Vojdan Chernodrinski Theater, which is digitized and will be available to the public. A small part of those photos, respected, are now in front of you. Due to the symbolism, 75 years of theater, we have chosen 75 photos to depict the 75th anniversary of the survival and growth of the theater. At the Canvas photos setting, moments of performances have been presented over the years, plays that have left a mark in the history of the Vojdan Chernodrinski Theater and the performances that were the longest on the repertoire and were most watched. We hope that with this choice, we will bring you closer to the history of the theater with which Prilep and Prilep are proud – says project author Karolina Micevska.
