Excluded to complete all issues for summer holidays
Bergþór Ólason, chairman of the Central Party parliamentary party, believes that the government will be able to finalize the issues that are available in parliament before parliamentary work will be postponed and MPs go on a summer vacation.
Bergþór says in a conversation with mbl.is that this is a fact that is faced with everyone except the ministers, but according to the parliamentary plan, it is estimated that the parliamentary suspension will be on June 13.
« Given the number of cases that are available and how the situation is on the issues in committees and discussions in the parliament, I believe that the ministers need to take one step back and try to understand what should be emphasized because the whole litigation will not be completed, » says Bergþór.
« Everything went to a dog and a cat »
Priorities in parliament have been criticized, earlier this week, a bill regarding amendments to the Immigration Act has been brought further to the agenda of the parliament following the opposition criticizing how far the debate on the bill was on the agenda.
« It simply seems to go to a dog and a cat in the organization of the Valkyrjar. The priorities seem to be small, the biggest issues Dangla like issues that are of no importance and vice versa. Certain issues are going so before and it seems first and foremost to make the most at the people of the people. »
« I do not know if this is inexperience, anarchy or a balanced decision to navigate matters in this channel, but I am pretty scared that the parliamentary closures could be the most decorative for a long time, » says Bergþór when asked about his opinion on the priorities of parliament.
Take the attention of the issues of the People’s Party
The issue that has been the most in the debate in parliament in recent weeks and months are the proposed increases in fishing fees. Bergþór points out, however, that there are more issues in the parliament that are very large and is of great importance.
Bergthór believes that the government’s ministers feel that it is important to finish the matter before the end of parliament. Bergthór adds, however, that he is afraid that it would be of great harm to the government and society all if the bill were to run through « on the power. »
« I think the case was thrown in before it was ready to take the attention of people on certain issues of the party.

Ministers just say something
Among the issues that are in the parliament at this time is a bill to enact the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The bill states that the legalization will not lead to increased costs for municipalities.
Rósa Guðbjartsdóttir, a member of the Independence Party, however, has pointed out that according to an analysis made by Haraldi Líndal Haraldsson, economist and former mayor, the legalization will lead to 15 billion costs for municipalities each year.
« This has a huge impact on municipalities, despite the fact that the bill is nonexistent.
