The head of the school, Asta Poželė, told Kauno. Diena.lt that various initiatives and education take place throughout the month, but they are all linked to citizenship and March 11th.

Kaunas Fire and Rescue Board firefighters and officials of the State Fire Surveillance Division participated in both day events and at night.

Part of the event « Night at School » was taken care of by a school career education specialist. The presentation of the firefighter's savior profession began very effectively – from evacuation.

When the students went outside, firefighters' special transport and prepared stories about their profession, everyday challenges, shared their work experience and emphasized the importance of being safe and responsible.

« Every curious could see firefighters' equipment, dress in firefighter's guard clothes and ask firefighters what they are interested in, » Kaunas Fire and Rescue Board shared in a notebook.

« It was interesting to talk live with firefighters, see their cars. We also saw their impressive 40 -year -old ladder. It was really useful in both the career choice and the general sense, » Poželė summarized.

At one of the day's events, firefighters introduced the fire prevention and explained how to deal with emergencies.

Indeed, it was useful in terms of career choice and in general.

On other days, representatives of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Riflemen's Union and first aid training were visited at the school. There will also be an evacuation of activities, a survival basket, first aid training. The latter will take place for both students and teachers.

« Night at school », according to the interviewer, is unimaginable without sports. Night tournaments and physical education activities took place: basketball, volleyball and planes, and the most accurate students tried their hand at a three -point competition.

The little ones actively participated in mobile games.

At the end of February, the school community celebrated the 140th birth anniversary of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Alexander Stulginski by participating in a quiz, otherwise overcoming various challenges and answering questions about the president.

The students also visited the tomb of A. Stulginskis in Panemunė Cemetery.
