Every lion, each euro matters

UDMR announced the launch of the site helppraidul.ro For those who want to help the community in mineaffected by the closing of the saline, as a result of the infiltration caused by the rain. Those who wish can contribute to help families.

« The UDMR has been involved since the first moments in managing the Emergency Situation in Praid: we organized government support and actively participated in rescue interventions. Now we take a new step: we launch the site helppraidul.ro, where anyone can find out how to help, » says the formation.

On the site is available the necessary information about associations that receive donations, as well as answers to the most common questions.

« Our goal is for local initiatives to reach both the Hungarian communities – in the country, from the Carpathian basin and beyond it, as well as our Romanian friends, » says UDMR.

Those wishing to support can contribute in three directions:

-for the help of families-insurance of food, medicines, heating, accommodation and compensation of the lost revenues for the evacuated people, in need or who have lost their job;

– to support those living from tourism – direct support for the locals who earn their existence from tourist activities;

– for relaunching tourism – promoting the tourism potential of the Praid area and attracting a greater number of visitors.

« I urge all those who can donate and give the news – to friends, relatives, acquaintances. Because there is little – every lion, each euro matters. Families, Praid hosts, traders, to everyone for whom tourism is a means of living – and who have now lost this source, » said UDMR.

The UDMR states that it deals exclusively with the organization and promotion of the campaign and does not collect and store the data of the donors.
