Voderady. They feel that the company owner is honest. People from the village of Voderady in the Trnava district have been complaining about the operation of the halls for the storage of vegetables and fruits that operates in the area of ​​the former team. The constant and monotonous noise of refrigeration facilities rapidly reduces the quality of their housing.

Common meetings with the participation of domestic, mayor and representatives of Agro Voderady have not yet done anywhere, as well as suggestions to the Public Health Authority. The people concerned therefore joined forces and decided to deal with the situation in the legal way.

Can’t live normally here

« The situation is no longer unbearable, it is not possible to live normally, the devices go nonstop. It is not only heard when we are out, but also inside, even if we have everything closed, » said Soňa Hadidová from Voderád.

Together with twenty -five people from the streets of the candy, aluminum, school and main ones, they have already hired a lawyer and deal with it. Their houses cost tens of meters from the team.

« Sometimes they work there by midnight, forklifts, loaders, everything runs to the fullest. And of course, the cooling is constantly turned on. In addition, the season is running, the situation with noise will be even worse, » added another resident of Voderád Roman Štefunko.

His neighbor Ľubomír Lihan admitted that they are already frustrated from the whole situation, constant noise leaves traces of their health.

Mayor of Voderady Anita Gajarská confirmed that they are registering several suggestions in connection with excessive noise from this operation. « Each one was solved and communicated with both parties and other stakeholders in the municipality within its competences, » she said.

Several working meetings with representatives of AGRO Voderad, the management of the municipality and citizens have also been held. In her words, the company has declared an interest in having good relations with the municipality and citizens, with the promise to carry out its activities in accordance with the relevant legislation and to prevent conflicts.

« Representatives of the company communicate with the municipality, show the interest of the emergence of the situations, but, yet without a practical result, » she added.

« Given the nature and scope of the activity, the company is rather a societal importance, especially in relation to ensuring food self -sufficiency, but irrespective of its importance, it also applies to the obligations to respect and meet the requirements of legal regulations, » the mayor said.
