Eventually it was about more than money

Benny waited and waited for the $ 9,000 to land in his account.

The days went by one by one, and suddenly several months had passed. Every time Benny moved, new promises came, but no money.

In fact, it is so far that the media SVT wrote about the case, but the Thursday afterwards the miracle happened. The money showed up.

Not the only one

Benny’s experience is far from unique.

On Trustpilot, there are enough complaints to fill a smaller novel, and according to SVT, the Swedish violation authority has 21 similar debt collection cases against the gold company, but it does not stop there.

At the time of writing, the company owes over 800,000 Swedish kroner in Tax.

Had to try more approaches

Benny reached a point where he reported the company to the police, but here he was told that the case was ‘civil’ and thus nothing for the Criminal Code.

When he complained to the prosecution, the case was also rejected in the first place, but then new information came.

« I have changed my assessment because new information has come into the case, » said prosecutor Karolina Fredriksson.

Now the case is handed over to the police and an investigation of fraud is underway.

Benny, meanwhile, got his money, but it wasn’t just the amount he fought for. He will now warn others against going in the same trap.

« What I want now is to put an end to this so that other people are not injured, » he says.
