Eva, part of the well-known Berlin artistin duo Eva & Adele, is dead. As her partner Adele announced, the artist died in the shared apartment in Berlin-Charlottenburg. « Eva went back to the future today. She left this world and entered the eternal stage. Her belief in the power of art was infinite, » wrote Adele on Instagram.
The two got to know each other in 1988 and from 1991 as a walking total work of art in a kind of permanent performance worldwide were on cultural events, in museums and parties – always unmistakable with shaved heads and in shrill costumes. The two were also considered regular guests at the Salzburg Festival. In fact, the two saw themselves as lifelong, permanent art project.
