Europol is eliminating a large pedophile network / day in a wide operation

These 79 people are suspected not only that they have watched or downloaded video recording of child sexual abuse, but some are suspected of active sexual abuse.

About 1,400 suspects have been identified worldwide.

Under the leadership of the German Federal Land Bavarian authorities, a platform was closed, known as Kidflix.

According to « Europol », it was one of the world’s largest pedophile networks, and it was the widest operation in Europe so far against sexual exploitation of children.

Platform servers with more than 70,000 videos were closed by the German and Dutch authorities in early March.

The investigation began in 2022, but recently expanded. Between March 10 and March 23, the authorities seized thousands of electronic devices and more than 91,000 videos.

Europol announced that Kidflix was established in 2021 by cybercriminals and became one of the most popular platforms for pedophiles. In it, users were able to download and stream videos showing sexual violence against children at a fee.

The Latvian State Police, LETA, found that the police had initiated two criminal proceedings in connection with this operation and that two persons were arrested, which Kidflix purchased material containing child sexual exploitation to Kidflix. More information was not provided in the Latvian police at the moment.
