There is no concrete discussions about sending European military troops to oversee a potential peace agreement, though such an opportunity has been constantly pushed by French President Emmanuel Macron, though the idea has been rejected by Moscow.

Brussels also has two other weapons that the Trump administration seems to have placed on the negotiation table in order to convince Moscow of a peace agreement: the Sanctions against the Kremlin, and the war crimes accountability.

The European Bloc has continued its visa bans and continued to raise the assets of 2,400 companies and individuals – including Putin – implemented since the launch of the Moscow war in Ukraine more than three years ago.
