European Commission call for free traveling through Europe for 18 years of age
The Ministry of Education and Science informs the European Commission’s initiative that offers nearly 36,000 free traveling passes across Europe for 18 years of age.
« Through the Discovereu 2025 program, the European Commission enables selected applicants to travel up to 30 days in the period from July 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026, with the aim of cultural research and educational experiences across Europe, » MES reported.
The right to apply are born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007, who are residents of EU member states or countries related to the Erasmus+ program (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey).
The deadline for registration is Wednesday, April 16, 2025 to 12 noon, through the European Youth Portal (https://youth.europa.eu/home_en). The application involves checking the conditions and a short EU quiz, followed by an electronic application.
-The Projects will be given on the basis of the rankings, until everyone is spent. Participants can devise their journey on their own or choose one of the proposed thematic routes inspired by EU priorities, such as the green route (which includes award -winning green cities and natural parks) and the routes of the new Bauhaus (focused on innovation, sustainability). In addition, the winners will receive a discount card that is valid in 36 countries and offers discounts for transportation, accommodation, cultural locations, food, sports and other activities-the report said.
The program offers special support for young people with disabilities, health conditions or limited opportunities, as well as additional logistical assistance for applicants from rural, island or remote regions.
