Euronews -Albania publishes the survey of how Albanians would vote on May 11
The Euronews Barometer – Albania has developed the second electoral measurement after the January 2025 measurement. Again the methodology used and the sample was the same, 1600 citizens questioned throughout the country, face to face. The time period of data collection for the second electoral measurement of the Euronews-Albania barometer is 15-25 February 2025.
The most important political question in the Barometer's measurements for the May 11th elections is: Which party would you vote for whether the elections were to be held today? Through this question in all political measurements we manage to read the tendency of the citizens' vote for the upcoming elections. Answers in the second measurement show that: 39.1% of citizens if elections were held today would vote for the Socialist Party, 27.8% of them would vote for the Democratic Party.
And as follows, 5.1% of citizens would vote « Albania becomes, 3.9% » Opportunity Party « 2% » Movement together « , 1.4% Party of Freedom, 1.7 other parties. Meanwhile, 19% of citizens are indecisive to answer this question. Some of them indicate that they will not vote, part of the answer does not know or refuse to answer this question.
Compared to the first political measurements in January 2025, the second measurements show how the vote has changed. In the first measurements the difference between those citizens who would vote for the SP and the DP was 15.6%, while today in the second measurements this difference is narrowed to 11.3%. Undisa in both measurements have remained exactly at the same level (19%).
Another reading in comparing the two measurements for voting tendency is the decline of SP by 1.4% and the growth of DP by 2.9%. In terms of new and small parties, there is a decrease in their first measurement in the second measurement with the exception of a 0.8% increase in the « Opportunity Party ».
Which leader do Albanians like?
1600 citizens have been questioned throughout the territory of the country, face -to -face with the liking of the leaders of the main political parties two months before the election.
The time collection period is 15-25 February 2025.
Edi Rama lists the most liked leader with 51.1% positive thinking and 46.5% negative thinking.
Adriatic Lapaj ranks second with 31.4% who like 34.6% who have negative opinions on him.
Agron Shehaj ranks third for positive thinking with 31.1 % and 38.6 % negative thinking.
Then comes Sali Berisha, 28.4% positive opinion on him and 66.6% negative opinion.
Arlind Qori has 21.9% positive thinking and 37.5% negative thinking.
Endri Shabani likes 17.8 % of citizens and dislikes 34.9 % of the respondents.
Enkelejd Alibeaj has 12.6% positive thinking and 58.2% negative thinking.
Lulzim Basha has 10.1% liking and 84.7% negative thinking.
The last one for the liking is Ilir Meta with 5.3% positive thinking and 87% negative thinking.
If we compare the liking figures with the first political measurements of the barometer (1 month ago): Edi Rama has fallen by 2.3% in their liking, Adriatik Lapaj has fallen by 5.8% in their liking, 3% has fallen as Agron Shehaj's liking, 2.4% has fallen in favor Arlind Qori, 4.4% has fallen, 0.3% has fallen, 1.4% Ilir Meta. The only one with 1% increase in liking is Sali Berisha.
What is the prime minister and the party they have to lead after May 11?
43 % of citizens say that the most suitable for prime minister is Edi Rama.
After 19.9% Sali Berisha, 9.7% Adriatik Lapaj, 5.6% Agron Shehaj, 2.5% Arlind Qori, 1.5% Endri Shabani, 0.6% Lulzim Basha, 0.4% Alibeaj and 16.3% responded.
Inside the supporters of their parties occurs as follows:
80.2% of SP voters in 2021 think Edi Rama is best suited for prime minister.
57.8% of DP voters think Sali Berisha is the most suitable candidate for prime minister.

43.5% of citizens say it is the Socialist Party, 23.1% the Democratic Party, 8.4% Albania becomes, the party's chance of 4.9%, 2.7% Movement together, 1% Knitting Initiative, 0.4% right 1912, 0.3% PSD.
