Euromillions releases 250 million euros
A historical event is coming up at the Euromillions lottery next Friday: the maximum jackpot of 250 million euros will be played for the second time this year. As the national lottery announced on Wednesday, a draw of 130 million euros was originally planned. Due to the high participation in the past rounds, however, the profit amount was raised to the permitted maximum.
Finally, this record amount was cracked on March 28 of this year – a Player from Austria Back then, the huge profit was happy.

If no one meets the right combination of numbers this Friday, the jackpot can be played up to four more times in a row. After the fifth draw without the main winner, the sum will be distributed to the next lower winning classes.
The income from EuroMillions in Luxembourg benefit social and cultural projects, which are supported by the oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte. Most recently, a EuroMillion profit went to the Grand Duchy on November 28, 2023-83 million euros with the numbers 12, 16, 27, 33, 44 and the star numbers 7 and 8.
Luxembourg has been participating in Euromillions since October 2004 – the game is now offered in nine European countries. The draws take place twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays with a total of 13 winning classes.
