According to the information, the European budget has paid Musk at least EUR 337 million under two contracts for the launch of two satellites and for the construction of charging stations for electric cars in 2023, as well as over half a million for advertising on its social network H.

In a written answer to a MP asked by Frend, the European Commission says that about € 159 million was paid to Musk companies in 2023 to develop its network of Tesla electric vehicle devices. Under a contract of EUR 177 million, two European Satellites for the Galileo Observation were fired from the missiles of Musk « Spaces » in 2024.

In addition, the European Commission paid for ads on the social platform of Musk x 630 thousand euros in 2023. Frend called on Tuesday the EU to stop paying to Musk, calling it a « enemy enemy of the EU and our basic values ».
