EU gave Ukraine another 1 billion euros of Russian assets

The European Commission has announced that it has transferred another 1 billion euros on Thursday from the interests of the detainees under the sanctions in Europe in Europe.

This is the fourth loan since the beginning of the year, which Kiev receives to support his budget and to pay pensions, salaries and social supplements.

The EU has provided 18.1 billion euros from frozen Russian assets to pay to Kiev as loans at the G7 initiative to allocate EUR 45 billion financial support to Ukraine. These loans will be repaid with receipts from frozen Russian state assets in the EU. With this payment, the total amount of loans granted by the Ukraine Commission under this program has reached EUR 6 billion since the beginning of the year.

The Commission announces that it is ready to pay in advance the amount set aside to Ukraine if it requested that if Kiev needs additional military expenses to strengthen its position before possible peace talks.
