Especially number 1 and 3 should be taken very seriously

The sleeping drunk? Eyes like sandpaper? Unable to take you along for anything?

If you walk around with a constant feeling of exhaustion and think it is just due to busy weekdays and too little sleep – think about an extra time.

Behind the heavy eyelids, everything from metabolic problems to depression can be hidden.

Womenshealthmag.com have collected seven serious explanations of why you may feel drained of energy:

  1. Anemia (anemia):
When the body lacks red blood cells that transport oxygen around, even small tasks can feel like marathon. In addition to massive fatigue, you may experience headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath and difficulty sleeping. Iron deficiency is often the culprit, but also a lack of certain vitamins can come into play.

  2. Disease of the thyroid gland:
The thyroid controls your metabolism and if the hormone balance smokes, the fatigue comes creeping. The muscles feel relaxed, especially in the legs, and the weight can suddenly swing without any obvious explanation. Hypothyroidism (too low metabolism) is a frequent culprit.

  3. Diabetes:
Diabetes can list without discovering it. The symptoms range from enormous fatigue, thirst and frequent urination to weight loss and blurred vision. Because the body does not handle the blood sugar properly, the energy level is affected – and it is clearly felt.
