EP picked up promising dual -purpose development for the Ministry of Defense
“United Russia” (EP), together with the center of unmanned systems and technologies supported by it (TsBST) and the ERA Foundation, summed up the results of the accelerator for dual -use technological initiatives, Kommersant was told to the Central Bank.
The winners became companies – developers of projects in the field of artificial intelligence, machine vision and production of electric motor for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Five companies – “Dron Solyushns”, “Laboratory of Development”, “Techsayens”, “Intel drone” and “Motorno” – will become residents of the Central Bank and receive certificates for the accelerated passage of bureaucratic procedures to coordinate work from the Russian Ministry of Defense as the main customer. A personal curator will be monitored.
As the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank Andrei Bezrukov noted, these measures will allow the projects “to the real result as soon as possible” so that the products of the winners of the accelerator can further go to mass production as part of the state defense order.
The special prize from the Our Pravda Foundation received social projects of the Mentstandstand company, which produces military uniforms with protection from fungus and mold, as well as the company “Pekhtra”, which develops a computer management device through muscle signals to help people who have undergone an amputation of hands.
Recall that the start of the Business Accelerator of the Central Bank became known in the winter (See “Kommersant” from February 5). The main idea of its creation, as noted by the head of the Central Executive Committee of the YP, Alexander Sidyakin, was the support of young Russian technological companies and the import substitution of components necessary for the production of domestic UAVs.
