The Chamber of Landscape Architects of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Engineers and Architects (KTMMOB), the uncontrolled production and irresponsible use of plastic has turned into one of the largest environmental threats of the planet.

In a written statement from the room, the World Environment Day, which is celebrated every year on June 5, was celebrated all over the world to draw attention to the environmental threats faced by the planet and to increase the environmental awareness of societies.

In a statement called “We are in a period where nature gives us important messages as of 2025 ,, it was pointed out that problems such as climate change, decrease in biological diversity, decrease in forests, pollution of water resources and especially plastic pollution were not only threatening the future but also the present.
