End of tapeworms: The other Dinamo and Hajduk team found out in which rank they would compete

After a multi -week tape, the official decision arrived, the other team Dinamo and Hajduk They will not play in either the second or the third league. Namely, the official website of the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) announced that « Blue » would perform at the 3rd Nl Center and « were » in the 3rd Nl South, which means he will play in the fourth rank of Croatian football.

Recall that the two largest Croatian clubs were ready to pay € 400,000 each for their other teams in the second league. But one of the key conditions was that these teams from the league could not turn out, which caused the resentment among the second-team players, who in the vast majority boycotted a meeting with the HNS. Although the negotiations lasted for weeks, the agreement was not reached in the end.

In his statement, the HNS confirmed that Sibenik, this season’s first -team player, will start from the fourth rank of the competition, where he will play against the second Hajduk team. The HNS statement is transmitted in its entirety:

« The competitive committee has noted the decision of the License and Appeal Commission, according to which Šibenik and Marsonia have not received licenses for the first and second NL and are therefore deployed in the fourth degree of competition – Šibenik in the third NL South, and Marsonia in the 3rd East.

Following these decisions, Dugopolje remains a member of the first NL, while the first NL directly enter the two best clubs of the second NL.

Furthermore, the competitive committee concluded that in the competition year 2025/26. The competition system remains the same-with 10 clubs at the Supersport HNL, 12 clubs in SuperSport First NL and 16 clubs in SuperSport second NL. In accordance with the existing decision, other Dinamo and Hajduk teams can start a fourth degree competition, or from the Third Center groups and the third NL South.

Until Thursday, June 5, the clubs of the first NL had a deadline to achieve any consensus on the conditions of extension of the first NL to 16 clubs in agreement with Dinamo and Hajduk and coordination with HNS. Namely, at the initiative of Dinamo and Hajduk, the clubs of the first NL proposes the extension of the league, with the participation of other Dinamo and Hajduk teams and the payment of participation in the amount of 400,000 euros per season by both clubs.

Such a change in the competition system in the current year was needed by the consensus of all clubs, which were not achieved within the scheduled time limit, and thus the prerequisites were not achieved so that the system change could be proposed to the competent authorities. «
