Humenné. On Monday they wanted to go to the streets to draw attention to the threat of losing hundreds of jobs, on Wednesday they were ready to report a mass redundancies at the Humenne Labor Office.

After 35 days of forced shutdown for missing energy, the machines started again and 295 employees do not lose their jobs.
« So far we were in tension and uncertainty, we did not know when production was started. They were preparing, it is already going to start production, it will be, but then, unfortunately, there was nothing again, » explains Nexis Fibers employee and a member of the Trade Union Council Slavomír Jancusko.
« We already perceive it in peace and certainty. We are glad that jobs have been preserved, because we all know well in what region we live and lose almost 300 jobs would be a proper defeat not only for the city, but especially for families, » he adds, adding a winning gesture thumbs up.
What preceded the problem
Industrial fiber manufacturer Nexis Fibers shut down the production of March 28, immediately after Industrial Park Chemes has terminated the lease for energy equipment. Until then, they were supplied by Chemes, AS, in bankruptcy. It provided production on the facilities rented from the Chemes Industrial Park.
According to the Chemes Industrial Park, the bankruptcy trustee has stopped paying rent since December last year. At the same time, the Chemes industrial park made a concession and proposed a rent reduction of 30 percent compared to its original amount.
The bankruptcy trustee Chemes, AS, announced that he would terminate the supply of all energy at the same date.
The company has been a long -time heat supplier, regulated and unregulated energy for companies. He was also supplied with heat and warm water from the central source and households and various organizations in Humenné.
The Regulatory Office for Network Industries issued a preliminary measure to which Chemes and the Chemes Industrial Park imposed on the State MH to the State MH Teplárenský Holding of the heat production and distribution facility.

The heat and warm water for households and various organizations in the city since the end of March has been provided by the State MH Teplárenský Holding through three back -up sources, which he built in close cooperation with self -government in various parts of the city.
However, companies in the industrial park remained without access to various unregulated media, only electricity was available to ensure the necessary operation.
Signed the contract
Among the heating holding and the Company of the Chemes Industrial Park, there were intensive negotiations on the rental of thermal facilities. The contract was signed on Wednesday, April 30.
At a press conference on the first day of May, the Minister of Economy informed about it in front of the industrial park gates Denisa Sakova and Minister of Labor Erik Tomáš (both voice).
Minister Sakova said that the problem of heat supply in Humenné has been dealing with since joining her office. She confirmed that the situation was « complicated and complex » and tried to find a solution.
« The contract between the State Holding and the Chemes Industrial Park means that more than 30,000 inhabitants of the city can sleep happily that they will be warm during the winter season, that hot water will be supplied throughout the year and at the same time 1,400 people working in the Chemes Industrial Park will not lose their work, » she said.
In her words, the lease agreement is the result of a compromise of all entities involved in it.

« We have not been able to fulfill the last days to meet our suppliers, which could result in loss of confidence and ending cooperation from their part, » said the director Kučeravý.
In addition to traditional customers, new ones have recently been reported, which could mean the expansion of production and the increase in the number of workers.

He confirmed that energy media has been flowing into the production of midnight and started to revive technological units. The start of production takes approximately three days.

« Then we analyze everything and set the new price parameters to be advantageous for both sides, » he added.
He admitted that it had relieved everyone in the company.
Negotiations cost a lot of power
The Humenne self -government was also relieved. Mayor Miloš Meričko (independent) confirmed this.
He appreciated the cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and the State Holding, who did a « piece of good and honest » robots in the construction and launch of backup sources.
A representative of the industrial park Chemes Richard Gavaľa expressed the pleasure that he managed to conclude « a difficult and long meeting part that took a lot of power and energy to everyone ».
