The Red Cross in Iceland has started emergency collection for the victims of the earthquakes in Myanmar. The death toll has reached over 1,600 and is expected to rise.

Working responders, including the Red Cross volunteers, are struggling to rescue people from ruined buildings, in a report from the Red Cross.
