Overview of health data

The « integrated supply » is also being worked on, which means that people with a chronic illness should be looked after continuously, regardless of which pension level the responsible work and how the financing flows are running. Elga is said to ensure links to avoid gaps in supply. You want to start with diabetes and heart failure. Another corner point is the electronic diagnostic documentation, which the resident doctors can no longer escape from 2026 – also a prerequisite for the « patient summary ».
Apps for Elga, care and vaccinations
In addition, one wants to connect mobile care services, including documentation and the Konnex to specific care apps, which is also in the turquoise-red-pink government program. Work is also carried out – for 2026 – on the relaunch of the Elga portal https://www.elga.gv.at. Then the technical basis for an ELGA app should also be created.
